Behind the Scenes on the shoot of our new Autumn Winter Collection
Tuesday, October 13 2015
For the shooting of our new Autumn/Winter Collection, we hit the tree lined streets of South West London for a shoot comprising of some of London's most popular bars, galleries and restaurants. The Chelsea inspired Gallery collection incorporates artistic prints, opulent laces and elegant evening dresses for a sophisticated and dressy evening look – ideal for a work-lunch or a night out in London!
The day started with a hair and makeup session at Chelsea Theatre at The World's End, opting for a soft natural makeup look accentuated with soft curls of flowing hair. Eyeshadows of bronze and browns complemented the collection, creating a glamorous yet subtle makeup look.
Our first venue was The World's End Market, a beautifully decorated restaurant and bar specialising in simply prepared exquisite fresh locally sourced food. The racing green leather seats with slick bronze fixtures made the perfect backdrop for our new Anya shift dress in Dragonfly, with its rich green tones and shimmering shades of stretch lace.
We coupled the dressy colourblock with a beautiful Kimbolton Leather Tote in Red from Tusting. Handmade in England from beautiful bridal leather in a striking colourway, this gorgeous bag was the perfect match for the new shade of our bestselling style.
With the quick addition of a bronze smoky eye and a fun up-do, the team took to The Bluebird Chelsea to photograph the Alissa Midi Dress in Aquatic Ombre. The modern vintage décor of the venue, with its retro chairs and black and white tiled flooring, complemented the classic vintage style of this unique Alie Street style
For the opulent Bella Dress, we headed upstairs to the bar of the Bluebird to shoot with the metallic and crimson décor making the perfect backdrop for this beautiful evening style
For Autumn Winter we have a beautiful new colour of our best-selling Pippa Dress – Artisan's gold. Signet Contemporary Art Gallery created a fitting setting for this rich new colourway. We styled the Pippa in Artisan with a Tusting Ifolio Leather Ipad and Computer Folio in Tan and a bold cobalt blue shoe for a vibrant colour-pop.
For the shoot finale, we teamed the Emily Dress in Painterly Blue with our Torrington coat in Boucle Blue for a classic style that's distinctively London in style.
